“To Enrich The Lives of Lenoir County Seniors Through Our Services And Activities.”
The Lenoir County Council on Aging provides high quality services intended to prevent the area’s older adult population from being institutionalized prematurely. It is our desire:
- To promote a positive attitude about aging among all age groups.
- To create an awareness of opportunities, activities and services available to senior citizens to enable them to grow and develop as a whole person.
- To provide opportunities, activities and high quality services that increase the well-being and prevent the premature institutionalization of senior citizens in Lenoir County.
- To foster cooperation among groups such as churches, communities, and agencies toward identifying, planning for, and meeting the needs of the aging population.
