The Council on Aging will be sponsoring a free Virtual Dementia Tour offered to professionals in the community. This tour is designed to sensitize individuals to the needs of dementia.
Alllow thirty minutes for the tour. Theses sessions are offered free of charge, however, an appointment is required.

Monday, November 7th at 10:00 am Trooper J. S. Collins will speak on Safe Senior Driving. This program is designed to encourage open discussion and to share information. Reservations are not required but are appreciated.
On October 28th come celebrate with Lenoir County Council on Aging. Games, food, and fun will be waiting here at the senior center for you to enjoy.
Do you have a talent you would like to share? Fall Festival will include a Talent Show so sign up at the Skinner Center and compete in our talent competition.
Learn how to get your voice heard. This training is designed to assist the older adult on how to advocate for their needs and needs of seniors of Lenoir County.
The training will be held at the Skinner Center on September 28th at 2:00 pm.
The Alzheimer’s Education and Support group will meet Wednesday the 14th at 10:00 am at the Skinner Center.
